1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using Maestra you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app. These terms form a binding agreement between you and Colibri Software, the individual behind Maestra.

2. The Service

Maestra is a clinical management tool designed for licensed healthcare professionals. It helps you manage patient files, appointments, and clinical notes. Maestra is nota medical device, does not provide medical advice, and must not be used as a substitute for professional clinical judgement. It is not intended for emergencies. Always use appropriate emergency services when needed.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and Recovery Key. Your Recovery Key is the only way to regain access to your data if you forget your password. Maestra cannot recover it for you. Keep it safe. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Maestra for any unlawful purpose, to reverse engineer or tamper with the app, to attempt to circumvent its encryption or access controls, or to use it in a way that could harm other users or third parties. Maestra is intended for use by the individual healthcare professional who holds the account.

5. Your Data

Maestra uses end-to-end encryption: sensitive patient data is encrypted on your device before it ever reaches Maestra's servers, using keys derived from your password. Maestra cannot access, read, or decrypt your patient data. You remain the data controller for all clinical information you enter into the app.

6. Subscriptions

Every new account starts with a 1-month free trial of Maestra Pro. After the trial, your account moves to the free plan: you can always sign in to view and export your existing data for free. Creating new records requires an active Maestra Pro subscription. Maestra Pro is a paid subscription billed through the Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or Stripe (for web subscriptions), depending on your platform. All billing, renewals, and cancellations are managed directly through your respective store or Stripe. Maestra does not handle payment information directly.

7. Intellectual Property

Maestra, its name, logo, and all associated software are the property of Colibri Software. These Terms do not grant you any rights to Colibri Software's trademarks or intellectual property beyond the limited licence to use the app as described here.

8. Disclaimers & Liability

Maestra is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Colibri Software shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Total liability for any claim shall not exceed the fees you paid for the service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Changes to These Terms

These Terms may be updated from time to time. When updated, the date at the top of this page will change. Continued use of Maestra after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
