Maestra v1.5
Release notesMaestra · 16 August 2026
Payments and finance
- Every patient now has a Payments tab: Paid, Pending and Credit at a glance, their session price, and the full history of charges and payments.
- A session with a set price is billed for you when its transcription finishes, and Maestra copies the encrypted amount without ever reading it. Turn this off, or bill by hand, in Settings › Billing.
- Two buttons sit on the appointment: a receipt button to bill the session (or waive it with a reason) and a money button to record a payment. They are separate because a charge and its payment often arrive weeks apart.
- Recording a payment asks the amount, the method (Pix, boleto, card, cash, transfer, other) and which session it settles. One payment spreads oldest charge first across everything outstanding, and anything left over becomes credit. That is how monthly payers and prepaid packages fall out, with no extra setup.
- Charges and payments are both editable and deletable, and settlement, credit and every total are recalculated on the spot.
- A standard price and a missed-session policy (never charge, charge inside a notice window, or always charge, since Maestra only ever suggests an absence charge) live in Settings › Billing.
Your practice
- A second page on the You tab. Step through any month to see sessions, absences, earnings received and earnings still pending, each with the change from the month before.
- A weekly chart shows how full each week was, and a Pending payment list ranks the patients who still owe, longest wait first. Tap one to open their payments.
Patient stages
- Patients move through stages you define, for example lead, active, discharged. Set a patient’s stage from their profile, filter the Patients list by stage, or select several patients and change them at once.
- New patients start in the first stage and move to the second on their second session. After that you move them by hand. Edit stages, colors and per-stage note templates, or pick one of your profession’s ready-made sets, in Settings › Patient Stages.
Week and month views
- The schedule opens as a day, a full week or a whole month. A switcher at the top changes view, and Today jumps back to now.
- Week and month carry over your work-hours shading and blocked time, and you can drag an appointment to another day in the week grid.
Professions
- Psychoanalysts are now a supported profession, with session-based wording throughout.
Fixes
- Transcription keeps going after a phone call or other interruption instead of dropping out, and a stalled session no longer gets stuck.
- Onboarding, social sign-in and a handful of translation and interface issues are fixed.
Data protection
Zero-knowledge architecture: records are encrypted on-device, and Maestra’s servers store only encrypted data and cannot read it, including every amount, so Maestra cannot see what you earn. Audio and text processed during transcription and note generation are sent to specialized AI providers under data processing agreements, in line with GDPR, processed transiently and never stored.
